In order to commemorate the 128th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Srinivasa Aiyangar Ramanujan on 22.12.15, we celebrated GANIT (Growing Aptitude in Numerical Innovations and Training) week in our school from 16.12.2015 to 22.12.2015.

Students of class VI to VIII enjoyed creating magic squares. Students of class IX and X had an interactive session on topics like mathematics in nature and Pascal's triangle. A power point presentation on maths in nature was shown to them.  Quiz competitions were conducted for class I to X as per their grade. An exhibition was conducted on 22.12.15 where all the activities and projects done during the week were displayed. The students participated with great enthusiasm and happiness which rekindled their interest and helped overcome the fear for mathematics.
